View Full Version : RCBS case transfer adjustment gauge. Whats it used for??

I found this in a box of stuff I got and cant figure out that its used for. Its a RCBS case transfer adjustment gauge and it looks like its screwed into a die hole and it has a smaller tapered cone on one end that almost looks like a case flaring tip. I think the P/N is 86792 or 86292 and cant find it anywhere in their books. If need be I can post a pic if noone knows. Thanks, Mike

Have you contacted RCBS with the part number?

I found it. Part of an RCBS Green Machine progressive loader. See page 12 of the manual:

Cool, Thanks. At least I know its useless to me so im going to use it for a case mouth flaring die. Its perfect for that and it will flare anything from a .17 to a .30 caliber case mouth. Its got a 7/8-14 thread so it will fit in my presses.:-D
