I don't need glasses yet.
My right eye is better than my left too.
Able to see colors is a plus.

Dr is taking my cataract and installing a new lense on the 24th of this month. Hopefully I will be able to see the target afterwards.

A key word here is 'yet'.

I noticed several years ago my eyes were not what they used to be.
I can still do detailed things and read fairly fine print, but I need more and more light than I used to.
If I need to see little stuff up close when I'm not out in the sun shine, I wear those cheap grocery store 2x magnifiers as needed.

I've been taking those AREDS eye vitamins for a few years now.
I don't notice much improvement, but they have seemed to stop the deterioration --- for now.

I didn't wear glasses until I hit 46, then the eye strain of working on microelectronics got to me and I got bifocals after the first eye doc visit in years!

I was late 30's. Staring through the windshield of a semi for 12hrs a day did it to me. Good part, if there is one, is that my glasses have not changed much since my first pair except my reading have needed a slight bump. I've noticed, though, that my nigh vision is not anywhere near what it was.
