I've got a few pages of the booklet, but I'd like to find the whole thing. Anybody have one in their archives?

No But...Oodles of Experience leads me to take most of those as Hocum..
But, I prefer my Contender to be Versatile...Not Barrel Specific.. Shoots better than I can...so...WTH

I have one but it's not for sale. What do you need to know?

Not sure what your point is. I have about 20 barrels and several frames, but I'm always interested in more information.

Thanks. I sent you a PM.

Then you know the Variations...Early to later, to Easy Open, of the Original Contender.
and So, you know that most will change the barrel/hinge relationship to enhance accuracy...which will mean All of the barrels will need modification! this and Headspace are the Main points of "enhancement" of the Contender platform...
For Me? Not needed, it already shoots better than I do.

I have an original 1960s publication of that pamphlet or booklet by TC. It is not about gun modifications at all, but reloading for the Contender, was created by Thompson Center for the Contender. It was printed prior to the existence of the Contender only sections in reloading manuals and addressed proper brass forming for cartridges like the 30 and 357 Herrett.
If you need additional data from the pamphlet/booklet, let me know.

I was bombarded (especially During the Metallic Sillywet days), with "how to Modify yer Contender"
I am becoming Jaded...
Never seen that one I guess...and I thought I had about all of the TCA booklets..
The Only ones I keep handy are in fact the TC loading Manuals..2 vol set, of good stuff!!!
Thanks for the education.....
Hopefully I ain't too old to learn..

I never felt any need to modify my Contender. I have only 6 barrels and all shoot better than I can. So I figure, "why mess with a good thing?".

Let's try this. Was the only way I could get it attached. 317210
Might even be readable if it gets blown up.
