We did. I caught the first eel in my life. It got into the rocks and wrapped it's head so tightly with old fishing line that I had to cut all the line off before I could unhook it. It was great fun watching the grandkids play in the sand and splash in the ocean. I lost one hearing aid to the fish, however.
