Fiddled around and made this antler 85 gr Powder measure. A bit different way to use a bit of White tail tine. I got a little frisky with the drill and wound up a bit bigger (85gr) than I will ever shoot. It will be on the next blanket shoot, hopefully will be desired by someone.

That is super workmanship, looks great
If you Over Carved it.
You can always reduce the amount it holds by putting some epoxy in the bottom.
Just use longer drying epoxy.
That stuff doesn't end up with a sticky surface like most of the cheap 5 minute types of epoxy.

Melted bees wax in the bottom will also take up some volume of that measure. It’s easy to fine tune to your desired charge.

Thanks. Made it as a fun project, who ever gets it down the road can fine tune the charge if so inclined.

Very Nice!
I have no imagination to carve, it gets lost between my brain and my hands!

That eagle head measure will last about ten seconds on a blanket I reckon - well done!

Thanks. Easy enough to make and a bit different. Always a challenge to come up with something nifty to put out on the blanket

Consider yourself invited to the Nebr State Blanket shoot next July. I will make sure there a few of those measures are on the blanket.
