The bullet chart shows it as a 75 gr plain base RN .

Look at Ol' buffalo Bullet Mold Tables (http://www.three-peaks.net/bullet_molds.htm )

.................Fun little boolit in 30 cal rifles. Start with like 3.0grs Red Dot or other fast powder and work up till accuracy fails. About 25-30 yards is a fine accuracy limit. Striker fall in a Springfield is more disturbing then the report/recoil. That slug is for the 32 ACP.

Works good as a small game boolit for 30 cals and better- the 32 S+W and S+W Long/Magnum. Hard to handle if you have manly fingers, (read-CLUMSY), with soft lubes. I someday hope to get a single cav and hollow point it. Not for expansion, but to flatten the nose a bit and move the center of gavity back a little. Just an idea I had.

It ought to be great in .30 carb, .30 Luger, .30 Mauser, .32ACP, .32mag handguns.
Brett, I made my own version of Forster's hollow pointer - it's easy to do up the loaded rounds on a case trimmer.

I have that mould. Like Buckeroo said it's for the 32 acp, but you can use it for other stuff. Versifier mentioned the 30 Luger and 30 Carbine, but to tell you the truth being that both those guns are semi-auto they need a pretty hot loading to function the gun because of the bullets very light weigh. I know the Luger isn't gas operated but the P08 requires stiff loads for proper functioning. I know it's a very accurate bullet out of my 32 acp PP Walther.

I have used that bullet with up to 7.5 gr. Unique in .30-30. Still hanging in there at 50 yds. but shooting 2" lower than full power loads. Soup-can or RCBS 32-98 works better with that load and puts them in the same place as a full power load (more useful for hunting trips).

I shoot .30carb in a 10" Contender - IMO it's so much better as handgun round than it will ever be in a rifle, that I sometimes forget its origins and that most consider it primarily a rifle cartridge. (I have an M1 Carbine, too, but it's in the "plinker" class and I'm happier plinking with my 10/22, so the rifle doesn't get shot very often at all.) I haven't experimented with boolits below 90gr in weight yet, but I wouldn't hesitate to try it and see.
