Greetings,

My friend, who live 6,000 miles away, has a Sea Girt Swaging Press and would like me to machine a set of new dies for him.

Can anyone offer me the dimensions of the punches and die body?

Personally, I have a Dave Corbin CSP-1 press. Is the Sea Girt similar in design?

Cheers,

Dave

Looks like it's a Corbin press:https://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?262894-Richard-Corbin-Making-Sea-Girt-Press-Again

Wether it uses the same dies, I don't have a clue.

No Richard's dies and Dave's dies are different and are not the same, Richard's dies are 7/8x14 while dave's S dies are 5/8x24.

Also, I have both their dies used in Richard's Walnut Hill press, I have Richard's die adapter to use Dave's S die sets in the Walnut Hill and the Sea Girt press.

In connection to Richard and Dave's varying die/press threads, I know Richards dies won't fit the S press since it's a smaller 5/8-24 threaded ram, but does anyone use Richards dies with a ram adapter for use in Dave's Mega Mite since it's ram is 1"-12.
