About 1 1/2 years ago my son bought me a RCBS Mega tumbler for my birthday, love the darn thing, does a mess of cases in a hurry, but........ the first unit broke after 6-8 months. The 3/8 shaft that the bowl mounts on is attached to the base by a flimsy ( about 3/16") dia spot weld. I called RCBS and they replaced it no problem and all was well for about 8 months, then same thing. Called RCBS again and the lady said "Yes, that has been discontinued because of design problems........... uh-huh........ I can believe that. She offered to replace it with the standard size tumbler and a $20 credit toward RCBS products, but I want the larger capacity. I told her I thought I could repair it and she said go ahead, and if it doesn't work out we will still warranty it !!! :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen: That is great service and I am VERY pleased. If it works out OK I will post some pictures so if anyone here runs into the same thing you can fix it.
