Search hasn't given me any answers that I can find. I'm curious, since I can't seem to find wheel weights in my area anymore. I know Full Lead Taco has done testing, but has anyone gone down the rabbit hole to see what the limits are? Thanks fellas!

It's an interesting idea and I'm sure others will have insight, but I've always dumped my zinc...

my concerns would be how my molds would last and then the bores when sending them.

Just keeping the thread alive for ya, I'd be curious also.

As Lead dries up, it is the future of casting.

There are several youtube videos on it and they're pretty good.
Word is, from the same Iron mold- they weigh about 60% what Lead does, you can push them up to jacketed speeds,
and they don't need lube or powder coat.

For a couple reasons, you'll need to set up for the stuff. Iron molds, and a hotter pot than our old electric ones made for Lead.
There are a couple of old threads here that talk about it too.

I haven't seen load data for it yet. But I think it's out there if ya dig around for it.

Perhaps a Google search for Zamac bullets would be in order.
There is, also, an article in one of the (much!) older NRA books.

Be aware they will ricochet like crazy, and will pierce armor.
