I haven't been able to get my 458x2 to feed reliably.
What I have tried so far:
1. Different brands of mags. Steel mags with a flat spring works better than PMAG, but still unreliable.
2. Rounding surfaces of magazine
I would prefer not to cut the follower back and add a filler. Current COAL is 2.375" but I would like the ability to load longer bullets in the future.
The problem is that the boolit nose-dives into magazine. What's your secret???
Have you tried an AI mag?

Have you tried an AI mag?
Yes, the AI steel mag works the best of all so far. But it still nose dives, especially when cycling quickly.
I read some put a 10 rnd spring into a 5 rnd mag and it is supposed to help. I will try that too. It seems straight wall bolt actions sometimes has this issue but I am determined to find a solution. I don't think the belt helps, when it's behind the lower round's belt it dives (that's my theory for now).
You can drill the rivets on the follower and move the spring forward about 1/4". That might hep a bit.

Should the ramp be ground down?
I just tried my AI WSM from Redhawk Rifles and it worked for two round of 458x2.
Are you using 308 mags?

Yes 308 mags. I mean, I can use mine how it is. The majority of time I have no issues. But probably once in every 2 mags it jams. Maybe the recoil shuffles the rounds in the mag...not sure.
Measure the width of the feed lips. The WSM are .483".......try opening them up a bit.
