She passed today.
Such a great voice, and great stage show.

One of the greats in music history

Yes, she was the Queen of Rock.
Unmistakable voice and stage presence.
She got past being an abused woman and left that idiot behind.
Rest in peace, Private Dancer.

Tina Turner RIP

Though Ike Turner created and lived in his own living hell, he was never the less dragging many others through the “muck”, the most notable was Tina. She endured much but broke away and gradually rebuilt her life and career.

I believe watching her in interviews that the emotional scars, though softening, from Ike’s abusive behavior were always there and she had to struggle to suppress them.

She is finally free and where ever Ike is now, he can not bother her now.

I enjoyed a lot of her music. A star is gone.

I thought she was great in Mad Max Beyond Thunder Dome.
Kind of a natural actor.
Wish she did more movies.

No other like her, and proved what an indomitable courage can mean as she left Ike Turner behind to rot in the hell of his own making. She carved her own path, realized her life and held nothing back. RIP, Queen.

How many know that she lived in Switzerland because of the taxes in the US? What a great voice and those legs. Went on forever even into her 60's.
