I've been using 3.5 g of 4756 under a 90g cast boolit in my .25-20. I'd like to try a little slower powder while working up an accuracy load. But I can't find a burn rate chart that lists 4756.

I have Green Dot, but don't know how that compares to 4756.

Anybody seen a burn rate chart that has 4756?

Wish I could help. I use Unique in my 25-20 with a home cast 73gr bullet.

SR4756 is in the neighborhood of Herco - and slower than Green Dot, but the burn charts are relative references. The comparisons are not spaced in linear fashion.

Sr4756 is number 56 on the burn rate chart. I really like 2400 which is listed as 76 on the same chart. Perhaps not close enough for what you are looking for but it works well in my win 92 rifle and carbine.

Kai, are you using 2400 with a cast bullet? Gas check?

2400 should be good.
you could also look at/try 4227. It works great in my 25-20 with a range of bullets.
I use it in my Schuetzen match load with a 117 gr bullet and Unique works with the 85 gr bullets as well
I am also looking at Lil Gun to try under the 117 gr bullet. It is slightly slower yet than 4227

I use 2400 with cast (both gc and non-gc bullets) and with jacketed bullets. Mind you I'm loading 25-20wcf not 25-20ss.
