So I got in on one of the group buys last year and it ended up getting put on a freeze ( issues happen with manufacturing and I understand wasn't mad or anything) and honestly I completely forgot about it till earlier last week when I got my invoice! Now this was coming from friggen Slovenia so I was honestly expecting to wait like a month. Well I paid for it Wednesday I think and within an hour I had a tracking number and shipping confirmation in my email! [emoji54] said it would be here tomorrow ( may 16) and I laughed that off thinking no way . Heck my Amazon packages have been averaging longer delivery times than that and I got friggen PRIME ! Well here it is the 15th and something tells me to look at my email and sure enough I got a notification that my package was delivered at 17:30 ! A DAY EARLY FROM SLOVENIA ! LESS THEN 6 DAYS !
well I check around my porch and of course FedEx decided to leave it in my uncle's shed next door....on the ground... Just you know...couldn't put it on the dang shelf two feet away but whatever.

I have three of his molds. Two brass and one aluminum, they all cast like a dream. Good luck with it once you get started.

I have several MP brass moulds as well, and they are works of art.

Looking forward to feedback regarding that particular bullet in the future.

MP molds are very good molds! Congratulations! A few things that I noticed. Some of the hollowpoint pins have different sides on them. The keepers are meant to be screwed from one side only. The keepers should be screwed in on the side with the flats around tapped hole. Never tighten these up. I make them tight, then back off 1/4 turn. If they are tight, they will swell when heated, and cause problems. Also, there are some excellent tips and techniques on the website. These help, and never tap on the mold itself. Always tap the hinge on the handles. Good luck!

My own personal hint/tip, is to heat treat new Brass molds 3 or 4 times.
you want the brass to start to form a patina, this discourages the lead alloy from getting "tinned" onto the mold face/edge of cavities.
