Shooting swaged wadcutters after Hitek coated

Recently shot some swaged PD 148 hbwc through a DW 357 barrel that was previously fowled with Hitek coated bullets. I noticed I didn't get any leading from the soft hbwc. I would normally just get a small amount in the forceing cone in a clean bore after 50 rds or so. It was a nice suprise that the swaged bullets didn't stick to the Hitek coated forceing cone. Is this normal? Will be interesting to see how long it lasts. 25 yd accuracy was excellent.

The softer alloy would more easily swell up and seal the bore, preventing gas blow by which would cause leading. The problem that you were previously having could have been caused by either under sized bullets, or an alloy that was too hard and wouldn't seal the bore. The coating may not have been the problem.
