AA9 for the 218 bee

Does anyone have any load info for the 218 bee, using a hard cast 44 grGC, or a 55 grGC, with AA9 powder or wc820?

My 22-30 is same case capacity as 218 Bee... I only used AA1680, With Jacketed .222's, or AA#5...
and, of course Unique, with cast...
My Understanding, right or perhaps wrong... was that #9 acted like 296/110... mainly for Higher pressure... so... may should have tried it with Jacketed!!

Hard cast takes up more questions than it answers. If you were using water dropped PC WW alloy I would advise you to use starting loads for jacketed. Hard cast to me means purchased with no idea of what kind of junk lube and fit you have.

What I consider hard cast is boolits cast with linotype or an alloy of equal bhn.

tested my linotype, showed a hardness of 28.5 bhn. now I dont have a full lab to do this test so it may be off a little.

GRT shows these results with a 58 gr. Lyman 225462 out of a 20" barrel
10.0 AA#9 2402 fps @40k psi
9.5 AA#9 2314 fps @35k psi
9.0 AA#9 2220 fps @31k psi
8.5 AA#9 2120 fps @27k psi
8.0 AA#9 2016 fps @23k psi
7.5 AA#9 1913 fps @20k psi

At these speeds, I'd be shooting linotype.
