This is why we can't have nice things:

Our damage is nothing compared to what a lot of other folks had,
but this is what greeted me this morning--

The picture could be better, but this is what happened to our old established peach tree
that was on the way to having its best year ever.
The one main branch was about half of the whole tree.

We're good with 4-5 of them a year, but it's fun to grow, and the neighbors really like them.

So sorry, a loss like this is hard to stomach, I have over a dozen fruit trees in my small orchard.

You could try and graft the branch back on ? It may take ??

That was the same squall line that hit us around 6:30 pm. Fortunately, no damage and about .75 inch of rain.

It seems the wind has been really something this year. It blew my pellet grill off of the porch and turned it over.
