Help finding a spring for a friend

Wolff does not make the recoil spring for the Sig Sauer P 226 X5 40 S&W German Made (Long Recoil Spring)

Sig wants my friend to send the gun to Sig and if they don't have it after spending $50 to ship it they would return it at no charge.

Any other suggestions welcome

Jacks first, numrich, apex, for a start, or make one, someone on here could probably do it if they had the wire gauge and length info.

Brownells used to have an extensive selection of coil springs in long lengths to allow you to cut your own. Might be worth a call to talk to them {I hate trying to find stuff on their web site). Get the diameter of the wire, the diameter of the spring, coils per inch and the length you need and see if they have something you can use. However, I'd be surprised if Sig doesn't have any, as they list several models of the five inch 226 on their web site.
