A PayPal money request, from Miha Prevec

I was in a couple of the .227 custom molds group buys, from MP molds.
We had the Stop Order on the sites group buys. Those threads, at least the ones I was on list, have been closed, so one cannot even ask to be removed.
I just now received a money request, from PayPal, for a 3 cav .227 62 gr HPGC , from Miha.
As far as I know, these buys have been cancelled.


EDIT: This is NOT a knock on Miha… I have several of his molds, and I treasure each and everyone of them… when our group buys were stopped… I went directly to his site, and bought the mold, as just a private nobody purchase.

Me thinks caution may be in order.
Waited X years, another day or two won't make much of a difference.
There has been too much scamming going on in general.

It looks like he is standing the behind the buys even though all group buys have been suspended. If you still want the mould then get it, if not I'd suggest letting him know you don't need it any more. Since you no longer have access to the thread it would be impossible to cancel so it appears he sent the invoices to anyone on the list. If in doubt contact him.

I'm kind of glad he is still standing behind the group buy since I was disappointed to miss out on a couple I had on order.

This is a personal observation and has nothing to do with my status as a moderator or staff member of Cast Boolits.

I agree minerat, I was on the list, but we were told that all group buys were cancelled.
In this day and age of hackers and scammers, I get a bill for something I have long forgotten about, from Slovenia, as I’m shaking the sleep from my brain, of course I hit ‘report’.
No one ever gave the instructions that at some unknown date, he was going to make and bill for the molds. Do we even know if he is legitimately filling this order? If I were a haxor and got into CB.c or even into Miha’s site… it would be easy to see who wanted, what.
Probable, maybe not… paranoid , well maybe, lol

Nope I agree fully and being cautious is the best policy. You did the right thing and if Lighthouse checks in he may have more insight.

I think the cancellation of the group buys was based on the lack of action by MP, etal and the frustration of the members asking for info and none was forthcoming.

I don't think the Forum has a problem with us buying from the canceled buys but will report this thread to No_1.

Again this is not an official Cast Boolits stance only my personal opinion.

There is no issue. Miha wrote me a few hours ago that he sent out PayPal requests for payment to those that ordered a 62g HP 223 mold.


He is now working on getting the 77g molds completed

Sorry for any confusion…. Caught me completely off guard.

Miha- because I reported it, I can’t access and pay the bill, thru PayPal app. I WAS able to pull the email back up, and followed the original link. I was able to make payment, that way, and it does show, that payment was successful. If there is any issue, from that, please let me know.

Let me clarify - none of the group buys were cancelled.
They were closed until he was able to get caught up or come up with a plan to be caught up.
I am happy to see progress.
If you don’t want the molds you got a payment request for then tell him.

As far as getting your names removed from a list, the honchos have that ablility.

Within the GB threads, we were told even though HP pins were the hold up, the non HP molds (both brass and Alum) would not be produced for the group buy until the HP's were ready. Intent being on all molds being ready at once.

I hope that still is the case, I would love my alum cavity molds.
