I have a 6 cavity Hensley and Gibbs .45 mold #130 and on a H&G mold list the diameter is .452 but listed next to it in blue the diameter is listed as .454. I haven't used the mold since I have to cast outside and the weather has not allowed me to. I have 2 .45acp revolvers and a couple of military 1911A to load for an would like to know what size to expect with wheel weights. The 1917 revolver is not very accurate with .452 bullets and was hoping the mold would throw .454 and be a little more accurate.

Have you considered powder-coating... which
would obviate the problem no matter what?

I also have a powder coat system set up but I still have the weather problem to some degree I have junked myself out of a lot of room. I work in a shed outside and wind rain and cold holds me up some. Soon weather will just be hotern hell which is not much of a problem here!

Is there a size stamped on the mold? H&G would often do that if the mold wasn't the std. size for the era that it was made. Just cast some bullets with different alloys it see what size they come out.
