Sized a bunch of 300gr FN GC bullets for a 454 Casull. Using a Star push through unit. Nose down gas check up with proper sized ram to seat GC.
Bent the stupid lever on my Star lube/sizer more than once.
I'd turn it round then work it the other way.
Bullets didn't seem that much over size and it turns out they weren't. I was using Hornady Gas checks and they seemed to be the cause of tough time going through the .452 sizer. If I put a little lube on the thing by running an already sized bullet through it made life much easier.
So I started running each one through more than once. That kept things nice and easy.
So any problem with sizing a bullet more than once? more specifically 3 times.
Any other simple solutions for tight Gas Check in a star lube/sizer. Never noticed this issue with .44 gas checks.
Thanks in advance.
