:-) I SCORED ON A NEW RCBS PRO MELT FURNACE TODAY, BOUGHT IT OFF OF A SASS SHOOTER WHO NEVER USED IT. COMES WITH ALL PAPERS. $170.00 I LIVE 5 MIN FROM THE RCBS FACTORY, AND COULD NOT BEAT THIS DEAL!

I got a similar deal on my Pro-Melt a few years back, and these are very fine furnaces. A real upgrade from the Lee(k) products.

Sweeeet. Ya gotta a smokin' deal on good stuff. Soon you will be like the rest of us and buy shooting things because they are cheap- NOT because you need or want them!

I Hate To Admit It But I Already Do Buy When It Is A Good Deal A Lot Of Times. Even If I Do Not Really Need It.

I was looking at that furnace, thoughtit might be a good spare. Decided against it, too many other things I need more. I love my RCBS pot, mine is in 220. Beats LEE all to hell.

Buy only if you really need it?

If it’s a good deal I don’t even have to know what it is. :)

The RCBS IS A GO0D FURNACE AND WORTH THE MONEY IMOH. FRIENDS HAVE HAD THEM FOR YEARS WITH LITTLE TROUBLE. THERE MAY BE BETTER FURNACES IN THE FORM OF THE MAGNA CASTERS BUT AT STILL HIGHER EXPENSE. THIS IS JUST AN OBSERVED OPINION BASED ON REACTIONS OF OTHER MEMBERS THAT HAVE THEM.

Great furnace. I got 2 of them. I see alot of discussion about bottom pour furnaces dripping and my Lee does. The RCBS when I bought them in the late 70's early 80's, came with a special info sheet that said not to let it go below 1" of lead in the pot. I never let mine go that low and never had a dripping problem. I've never seen this mentioned in the discussions. Maybe RCBS doesn't recommend that anymore.

Just something to think about.
