Just did up a large batch of Lyman' 429215 gc, lubed with LLA. Will it contaminate the powder in 80+ degree temperatures over a long period of time? Regards Rodfaf

Not in my experience. No problems in any temp range.

As long as It was dry when you loaded your rounds, you'll be fine.

LLA when dry, takes mineral spirits to remove. Heat doe not seem to effect it.

I didn't migrate here in my garage at 115 so I don't think it will at 80. Also as it dries it gets harder and less sticky.

Thanks guys. The pic if it comes through is of 6 shots at 50 yds. 7.5 gr of Win 231, Lyman 249215 gc, lubed with LLA as cast. Diameter as cast from WW is .433". The rifle was my Marlin 336, .44 Magnum. It gets pretty warm here in KY during the summer, hence the concern with lube migration. The temp. out that particular day was 22 degrees and I was shooting over the rail off my deck. Rodfac
