Not sure if this is the best forum to pose this question but wondering what is the best way to find ranges on the east coast for shooting BPCR. Doing just google searches, I found PRS ranges in the Virginia/Maryland area but did not find anything that led me to ranges that host BPCR shooting past 200 yds. Anyone have any advice on how to search for longer ranges not focused on just PRS?

Check the Black Powder Cartridge News magazine for a listing of ranges by state with contacts.

New Holland RPC, in Gap, PA. I think they go out to 740 yards. Requires membership or a member to sponsor you for a visit, which is like $5 for the day. https://www.nhrpc.org/

Ashland Kentucky and Dawsonville Georgia are a couple of places that might be within striking distance for you. If your feeling really froggy we will have a 1200 yard match at camp atterburry Indiana in November.

I wish I could find a long range near me where I could shoot BP. The only long range near me doesn’t allow BP. They say they are afraid of it starting a fire.

Check with the states state associations. They are inline and list most ranges and matches in that state.

BPCR in Shippensburg, Ridgway and McDonald PA, Ashville KY, Alma MI, Friendship IN, River Bend GA, all within a day's drive for me in Virginia. Midrange 200-600 yds in Cumberland NJ and River Bend GA. Long range 800-1000yds once a year at Reade range in PA. Get out there and get shooting somewhere.

In the northwest Florida the Escambia River Gun Club that used to be the Escambia River Muzzle Loaders is near the initial completion of a 500 yards range. It has taken them a long time between zoning and then getting the dirt moved. I assume that there will long range muzzle loading events. It is being dug into higher ground and lot of dirt is being moved. It is a few miles north of Pensacola, FL.
