Hi Everyone. I finally decided to try my hand at powder coating some boolits. I think they turned out pretty well. Thanks to Smoke4320 for the powder, and his helpful advice. My first batch were some Lee TL 124 grns for my wife's M&P. She really likes the new Signal Blue boolits, and asked if there are more colors. I may have gotten myself in trouble. Anyway, here are the results.

You won’t be disappointed with powder coating. Looks like you’re doing everything right. Different colors are useful for keeping track of different loads.

Nice job on those. I casted and powder coated a bunch of those as well. What load are you using?

Carrier,
4 grns of ww231. Haven't shot any yet, they're for my wife's pistol. Maybe we'll have time this weekend.

Great coverage, definition & finish ... you used just the right amount of PC coating ... the 'proof' is that there are no PC 'skirts' around the bases!

I hope she finds something she likes in Smoke's collection of colors. There's always mix and match.

Those turned out really nice for you.

It's pretty easy if you use Smokes powder and just follow the simple instructions. I found a free curbfind convection oven so all I'm into it for is Smokes powder sample packs and his black BB's. The cool whip bowls were headed for the trash anyhow. I've been hammering out bullets just like the ones shown in the opening post. I can't believe how easy this powder coating is to do.

Follow the directions to the letter, use the right tools, and confirm that your oven is at the correct 400 degrees "F" and it works very well as confirmed by thousands of customers.

I've found that putting the powder in a plastic water bottle allows me to easily meter the amount of powder i'm adding to the dish. Clean too. No waste. No having to open/close a baggie or wipe off a spoon.
