I am shooting both a handgun and PCC in 9mm with suppressor. Just ordered a Lee 147 TC mold. Anybody have good sun loads they can share?

I think that mold is a brand new offering from Lee, so we may be looking to you for range reports. As a rule, I have found that light charges of fast powder - around 3 grains of Titegroup, 700X, or Sport Pistol was the best way to stay subsonic with heavies. No idea on what OAL that one seats to and still plunks though.

I guess I will be posting results. After casting and powder coating of course.
I’ll test in my G19 and 8.5” PCC with silencer as well.

Thanks for the Lyman data! I’m going to warm up the leaf pot today I hope. Using straight keel lead with a little tin.

Are you referring to Bullseye? 1986?

BE-86 is a relatively new powder quite different from its great grandfather, Bullseye. It is much slower burning in my observation, about like Unique, and has far less data available. IIRC, it came out about 12 years ago.

I was looking for data for VV N340 for 9mm and found some for ss 147 gr. bullets. This powder has almost no flash signature and is very clean burning. Should be ideal for suppressor use. Will try to find the link.

Here it is; http://natoreloading.com/n340/

Alliant Sport Pistol data; https://www.alliantpowder.com/reloaders/powderlist.aspx?page=/reloaders/powderlist.aspx&type=1&powderid=42&cartridge=23

This powder also has a very low flash signature and this data is perhaps more reliable being from Alliant.

Anybody have pics of actual boolits from this mold? Does it have a bigger meplat than the 356-120-TC? The latter boolit is great but I like more weight and meplat.

On the off chance you have Ramshot ZIP on hand (I bought a keg of it during the pandemic because there was little else available), 3.5 grains of that under a coated 147grn. RN produces 950fps in the Glock 19 and about 1025fps in the Uzi.
