.389” Powder Through Expander Die

I got a powder through expander die in some used reloading equipment that measures .389”.
Anybody have any ideas what it would be used for?

I happened to have this window open, linked in the thread regarding NOE bullet sizer bushing in a Lee Breechloch die.

Someone is ordering bullet sizers is almost every step from 389 on up through 40 cal sizes.

So I don't know, but I think we might find out, soon enough.

Your .389 dia expander converts to 9.88 mm id this helps any

I figured out what it is for!
I had it upside down, it is a .40 cal expander die for a CH Autochamp press!
I took a 45 cal off a press I converted to process 9mm brass and then I figured it out!
