43 years ago today I took my future wife out on our first date. This Labor Day weekend we will have been married for 40 years.

Frankly I am surprised that she has put up with me for all this time.:bigsmyl2:

My wife & I have been going for more than 30 years and she hasn't run away screaming yet. I do think she's thought about it though. Putting up with me can't be easy. I am blessed.

Life sure is a ride or trip. With a good person working together. We only have 23 years but its better average then most today. She and the girl put up with me, most of the time.

We just celebrated our 48th, I've had a few problems lately, amputated finger, foot surgery, 2nd & 3rd degree burns to my good hand . . . . .

She reckons we are to grow old together but not because of me!
