Anyone have a Lyman 500294 I could get some samples from?

Does anyone have a Lyman 500294 they would be willing to send me some samples from. I have been thinking about having a custom mold made as I have been unable to locate one of these molds.

Don't know if Lyman still does it or not, but several times in the past I've had them send me sample bullets from their moulds. Wasn't even a charge for the service then but it's been a few years too I guess. You might check with them.

I guess I could try that, but in this case it is for a discontinued mold, and I doubt they will send samples for that, or even have any for that matter. But it's worth a call.

What exactly was this mold for? Is it a .500" diameter? I have an old Ideal mold for a 510" 300gn boolit but I dont know what the mold numbers are. I think this one was for the 50/95 Win. Is that what you need?

I was wanting it for my 500S&W, but I think it was originally for some or other sharps rifle. So .510 would be too big. Thanks anyway, though.
