I have other stuff I should be doing but have had the APP for too long, to just look at how it was made. Kept walking by things that turned it into this once I put them all together.

I couldn't quite hear what you are saying in the video, but an easy fix to the weak cylinder it to install throttle valves for both air lines to the cylinder, and then run the air pressure as high as you want.

These are a good cheap option, in whatever thread and hose size you have. https://www.amazon.com/Pneumatic-Throttle-Thread-Control-Fitting/dp/B07VZFBHGX?th=1

You can just see one of those at 38 seconds from under the plate on the backside with the solenoids. That does smooth out the stroke but all the pressure you have, is all the pressure you’ve got, unless I weight it and remove the flow control, then let inertia take over.

I’d rather have controlled decent though and all I have available is 175 psi, where the contraption is just barely doing its job (thus the dwell at the bottom stroke followed by the primer popping out.

It would probably be a lot better with this little gear motor and ditch the air all together but I already used it.

And 175 psi just barely punches out primers, or were you sizing brass?

No, just depriming. Should be 139 lbs of force on the pin with a 1” diameter bore.

Years ago I had measured to amount of force it took to deprime 45 ACP cases and it was closer to 60lbs to pop the LPP out.
