My usual sources (Zero and Magnus) are out. These need to be the best you have found in terms of uniformity and low weight variation (chasing distinguished revolver points). DCM rules now permit all bullet styles so I’m looking for these (I cast my own SWC). Alternately I wouldn’t mind if anyone knew where I could buy a four cavity H&G #50 or similarly proven design, mold.
Thanks.

Personally, I would just cast up some 148s and be done with it. You won't go searching for a source after you're setup to do it.

I have the H&G 50, and its a good boolit. I can also vouch for the Lyman 358495, which is still offered new as a 4-Cavity. Functionally it's identical. The Lee versions I have also heard good things about. And they're both offered in 6-Cavity molds. But if I had to choose between those three, I'd go with the Lyman, as I find Lee molds to be similar to Harbor Freight tools. Good for the money, but not something I'd expect to be the best tool.

Either one of those over 2.7-3.0gr Bullseye would be my go-to load. As for lubrication, if you're using lube I found only lubing the bottom groove was sufficient when using Carnuba Red, and provided the least smoke and best accuracy. If PCing your bullets, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

If you cast your own and you want the Best get an NOE Hollow Base Mould. Hollow Base Are Painful to Cast but work great at 25 and 50 yards. 100 rounds at 25 yards

I often get lazy and don't want to cast any bullets, so I buy some. I just received 100 Acme .358", 148 gr DEWC, coated. Measured and weighed some and they are pretty consistent. And they come in a neat little wooder box.

FWIW, I have a "house gun load" using a 150 gr. DEWC over a max load of W231 (will soon work up a load with CFE Pistol). In my 2" 38 I'm getting about 850-900 fps and decent accuracy out to 15 yards (haven't tried any longer distance).
