Hodgdon 2023 reloading manual

I have their 2018 manual & none in between, so my comments may not surprise anyone that has such an annual manual for the years between 2018 & 2023.

Conspicuously absent:
1. HP-38 (I know it's the same as Win 231 & Hodgdon manufactures both, so I assume this is slim down the line to make room for the new stuff)
2. H-414 (same as Win. 760: same as above)
3. IMR Red
4 IMR Green
5. IMR Blue
6. IMR UNEQUAL
7. Alliant Unique (it is listed on the burn chart but, but does not appear on any of the data listed or on pg. 61 "Powder Usage")

8. Complete absence for any data for the .44 Spec.: I figure (and hope) that this is an error

I'm old and still lament the discontinued P5066 & PB.

I emailed Hodgdon about the omission of data for the .44 Spec. & they feel that the .44 Spec. has little or no interest to today's shooters. My reply reminded him that most .44 mag. owners shoot more .44 Spec. loads that the magnum loads. I also let him know that I own 2 GP100s & a flat top Ruger SA in .44 Spec.

He also commented that they did not list any Unique loads because they only list products in their product line. Alliant is not one of their member companies.
