Browning 1885 45-70 bore dia.

I have a Browning 1885 in 45-70 and would like to know if the bore diameter is pretty much standard on these barrels. I have a .459 sizing dies and was wondering if I need to get a .457 sizing die also. I intend on slugging the barrel but thought I would ask the question first.

Great.....it looks like my .459 sizing die will work perfectly. I didn't want to "work" the bullet too much when I lubed it.

Mine loves the Gould bullet sized to .458 so your .459 sounds good !
