I have been to twelve and they are almost more fun than you should be allowed to have. Good food, good people, and a great place to visit. The Humboldt County facility is awesome. Usually I take a couple days before to go camping either at a nearby ghost town for the spectacular scenery or up in the national forest in Paradise Valley for rockhounding. This is the modern version of an 1830's rendezvous. Lots of fine places to stay are in town walking distance from eateries.

I will be looking forward to meeting you. I will be making my reservations to stay at Scott's Shady Court this week beginning Thursday afternoon before the festivities. Not fancy but is off the main roads in town so is quieter and you can back your rig right up to the door.
