The usual suspect, wife's acetone nail polish remover, isn't working after couple hours' soak. Suggestions for removing loctite blue from small torx screws? I have a "mini-pencil" butane torch, but concerned about frying the screws. Thanks.

Heat is probably what you need. If you don't want to use heat try Kroil penetrating oil for about 5 minutes. It will probably solve your problem.
Good Luck,

You will have to use heat. I now use PURPLE Loctite. It is not well known, but is for small screws that you want to take apart and not break. Most people have never heard of it, but was used daily in my lock trade. You might need to special order it.

heat - but use a soldering iron rather than a torch - less chance of damaging surrounding area -

Hey guys, thanks, heat did the trick. I have a very fine butane torch and took it easy, just until I saw the loctite carbonize and smoke, then used a bronze brush to get them clean. Hope that was easy enough to not compromise the metal.
