Has anyone tried the 350 Legend in an AR with cast bullets? I'm considering using the RCBS 35-200 FP in an AR I just built, but wanted to see if anyone has tried it and if it had a negative effect on the gas system? Thanks,

I loaded for our 350 using the RCBS mold. It shot well with 4227 and it did the best sizing to 0.356".

Check out Halfmilesniper’s 350 legend videos on Youtube. He recently borescoped his gas port after a good number of cast boolits. Looked just fine.

I'm using the LEE 200 gr RNFP in my 18" BCA 350 Legend upper. After some careful lapping to smooth the bore (and make it .355 from breech to muzzle) my pc'd bullets are stacking on top of each other at 50 yards. Last time I went to the range it was 35 degrees, and with a judicious charge of AA#1680 I'm getting 2250 fps with no gas check. Hotter weather will dictate lowering the charge, installing a gas check, or both. Feeding and ejection are perfect, and spent cases give no signs of excess pressure. Hopefully I'll get the chance to test this bullet on a large hog in the near future!
