Wondering if you guys adjust your custom mold sizes if you are using it exclusively for powdercoating, since it adds 1-2 thousandths?

That depends on the bullet. If you are looking at something like an H&G #68 clone for a 45 acp, I wouldn't worry. The little bit extra sizing is not a huge deal, and you maintain the ability to use lube if you choose.

Something like the Accurate 31-170A, which is a bore riding rifle bullet, absolutely. If you powder coat that bullet, your nose is likely going to be .302" or bigger, and probably isn't going to even chamber in a rifle. You need at least the nose section to cast smaller to compensate for the added thickness of the coating. Nose sizing is an option, but who wants to deal with that?

In the middle might be something like the Accurate 35-146A which can have chambering problems in pistols with the added thickness. You can seat deeper to compensate, but it isn't ideal. Having your barrel throat cut larger is ideal. Having the bullet cast slightly smaller, including the ogive is a good option too.
