I'm not sure what you're seeing--but if you go down to the bottom left of the page you'll see a place where you can select the color and format of how you view the forum. Grey theme is one of the choices.

Great site! Sharing knowledge is part of our shooting sports hobby. 99% of the people on this site are recreational shooters and competitive gunners. I am an old timer that has acquired alot of knowledge over the years. Started reloading 45-70 sixty years ago. Still reloading 45-70's Went from an old Lachmiller single stage press to a Dillon 1050 Super, loading 45-70's . I have learned much from the other casters and reloaders that contribute to this great site! Yeah there are a few "Googans" and a lot of " Einsteins" too. This "Cast Booooolits" site is a knowledge sharing experience! You moderators do a great job of keeping everyone inline. With much graditude: The Rockin' Dad !
