38-55 bullet diameter

My 38-55 barrel slugged at .377 diameter. What diameter bullet mould and sizer should I get? My rifle is a Winchester 94 built in 1979. Also, I’m new to the casting thing and trying to get it all figured out. Thanks

You should be ok with the common . 379 molds and sizers.

379 works for me for both 38 55 and 375 Winchester.

As long as your chamber will accept a round loaded with a bullet that size...

You may not need to size at all.

Thanks, I’m waiting on my dies to show up right now. A good friend gave me some .379 cast bullets because they wouldn’t work in his rifle. Once the dies arrive, I will load one and how it chambers.
