So I'm really I to trying to get the most out of my rifles. "Only intresting rifles are accurate ones " the saying goes.....or something like that :redneck:
Anyway I'm an extremely visiuals person when I come sto learning and I've always wished I could look though the scope of some of these guys shooting bug hole groups or shooting past a mile so I could ... More less understand just how stable I need to be . Well recently a few guys have started using these tactacam deals and gezzzz talking about a learning experience! Figured someone would find these as awsome as me :bigsmyl2:

When you are shooting F-Class or benchrest with a front rest and a rear rest you should not have any movement period. For NRA Highpower the rifles are 100% supported by you and you will have a wobble area that you need to learn to deal with. Same for the PRS style shooting. You may have a front and a rear bag but lots of stations you shoot from are less than stable. Same for the tripods.

Benchrest and F-Class is a game of equipment and wind reading. Shooting out of position for NRA Highpower is a game of wind reading and mental determination.

In the first video, keep an eye on where the gun ends up after the gun goes through recoil. Bullet follows the final position in his video. All that has to do with contact with the gun. The longer the bullet is in the barrel, the more it's accentuated. That's what makes 22lr and pellet rifle shooting difficult. Whatever you do, you have to be consistent.

One thing that is seldom mentioned is learning to calm yourself. especially in position shooting. This lowers heart beat and respiration. With a scope in position with a tight sling or cuff you can see your heartbeat in the cross hairs if not relaxed. Relax down into position with a goof natural point of aim.

You have to have a good load your gun likes, then you have to be very, very, very stable.

Take in a breath.
Release it.
(within about 3-5 seconds)
Aim.
Take up the trigger slack.
Gently squeeze the trigger.

Practice that a lot and it'll help you with being steady.
