Well I made it to 33x2! 66 years ago today a great man was born! Well maybe not exactly great, but ok. At times I can be a legend in my own mind. Lol Anyway quite an accomplishment! I remember an awful lot of people from my youth never figured I’d make it this far. Boy did I show them! Just felt the need to post this. Probably goes along with being a legend in my own mind. Lol

I just hit 66 in September. I try to not be one of those guys who never realizes reality, or fails to see the humor in it. I'm also a truck driver, which gives me time to think of this stuff as I pass the miles. I've got a file of these ummmm, witticisms that have rattled out of my convoluted mind.

Quite an accomplishment! I made it myself last month and realized I had outlived my Dad and 4 out of 5 uncles by 2 years. Kinda like seeing that the finish line is approaching...

I didn't figure I'd make it past 30, and here I am at 67... ***? I don't think I'm a legend, but I have been known to have delusions of adequacy now and again! :)

Just wanted to take a minute and thank everybody for the birthday wishes. I’m a little on the tired side today, feeling my age. Could be because I might have indulged in a few too many adult beverages yesterday. Lol oh and the comment about taking better care of yourself when you were younger, boy am I the poster boy for that!!!!

I just turned 68 in November.
After having cancer three times and being declared terminal twice, I am pretty happy to still be here. Been cancer free for over 6 years but still haven't fully recovered from the last cancer bout with the attendant radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Wife says if I die she will never speak to me again, so I guess I will go on living. Wouldn't want to make her angry.

I approached 66 with fear and trepidation. My father died at 66 as did his sister and brother. Their father and grandfather before them also croaked at 66. That was 14 years ago and now I guess I am running on my mother's genes.
