This is a NOS mold I got at a show. It has no Lee part number on it but does say 160g .309 at the top near the spruce cutter.

I -believe- the base looks gas-check-able, and would thus think it is a 90367.
I have the 150 and 180gr version of this..the 150 being used the most due to the flat nose, the 180 and 160 being round.

It was a good price so I grabbed it with no specific application in mind, and without manuals on hand to check load data.
I shoot .30-30, .30-06 and rarely, .308 /7.62-51 and 300 Wthby. ( for the 30 cal stuff anyway. )

Anyone have any comment on 160gr applications? I can't say that I've used that weight before.

I use a Lyman bullet style in that weight range for "gallery" loads in my 1903 . I load them to shoot to the battle sight zero for out to about forty yards or so . Fun to practice or train new shooters with .

Low velocity grouse loads for the .30-30. Bullseye is your friend.

I have a Lee C-309-160 Round Nose. It makes a good range load in 308 and 30-06. Powder coated and sitting on top of 6 grs. of Green Dot, it is my most accurate cast bullet. I have used it in an Encore 30-30 with good results. 15 grs. of 2400 gives good results with a gas check.

It'll work for any of your rifles, but I think it'd really shine pumped on up in the .30-30.
For deer inside of about 100-125 yards or so, I'd hunt with it.

I bet it might.. because I use 150's in the 30-30 and they are fantastic. I'll have to cast some up either this afternoon or friday maybe.
