This has been going on for close to two weeks now, that CountryGent hasn’t be able to login to the forum. He asked me to contact the forum, to help him out. I contacted several moderators, including No1. So far nothing has been done to help out with his problem. Can anyone offer some advice on how to proceed?

A few things for the friend to try that have helped me on the Net include:

1.) Download and run freeware "Spyware Blaster"; freeware "CCleaner"; and "Avast" Free Antivirus

2.) While on a neutral browser on the Net, simultaneously press CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE

3.) Check all boxes that pop up (except Passwords) and CLEAR NOW (if using Edge 11); this will clear cache, temp files, and junk; he will have to login again to every website after this maneuver.

4.) Complete SHUT DOWN of the PC; wait at least 30-seconds

5.) COLD BOOT (Turn On) the PC

6.) Navigate to DuckDuckGo.com, which is a tracking-free browser, and make it the GoTo browser. Stay away from Google, Google Chrome, and Firefox.

7.) Navigate to CastBoolits.

8.) Login.

If these do not help, something else is wrong;
a.) perhaps an old PW is being used, or
b.) a slip of the finger when typing, or
c.) an incorrect User Name.
d.) unfortunately these are not "out of the question" suggestions.

After Item 1, Items 2 through 5 are recommended monthly, even if nothing appears "wrong" with the PC.

I don't know if it applies to all accounts but when I get a PM from CastBoolits it emails me. The email can't be answered but the CB message can be read. Include your personal email address in the PM, he may be able to reach you that way.

Maybe try logging on with another computer or devise. That would narrow it down to a computer problem.

Please don’t start threads which give the appearance that Country Gent’s log in problem or your contact to me regarding his problem has been ignored. I can only work with what is provided when a member registers so I sent him a email but apparently he can’t or doesn’t access that.

In your message to me you provided no additional contact info (for him) so CG is still standing outside the fence looking in. If you would message a current email or phone number for CG I can straighten this out quick.

Finally found the problem a huge Thank you to all who helped me out. I hope I didnt cause to much trouble for all of you. I found a hidden spot on aol gold that had the old password saved 4 times. Thank-you all again.
