480 Ruger NOE 355hp- 1350fps
Button buck, 38yds.
The bigger one is a doe that I took with a 30-06 165 CoreLokt.
I neck shot the doe and the other one ran off, so I waited and 15 minutes later the little buck stepped out, so I blasted him with the 480 Ruger Bisley .

Well done. Now the work begins! Hope you have enough freezer space. Ha, ha.

Good Show & Good Shoot'n! Don't count out canning deer meat, it's really good. Here lately we've been steaking the hams & tenderloin, Freezing the neck for crock pot bbq. & canning the rest. Saves quite a bit of freezer space. Just a thought.

For years I'd been sooo tempted to get a muzzleloading barrel to use the revolver molds of that diameter.

Congratulations! I’m always in awe of folks who can take deer with bows and handguns. So much skill and practice involved.

The close handgun shot was twice as exciting, wasn't it?
Meat to eat and no horns to clutter the place up. I just put two spikes in the freezer today, myself. Good shooting!

Good Morning and Congratulations ! Revolver corn crunchers are a good challenge.
We also ave a 475 in a BFR. 400 grain soft cast at 950fps leaves little doubt about a backstrap supper.

Awesome. Congratulations. What type of holster ya got there? I’ve always been intrigued by bandoleer holsters.

Awesome job. I have always wanted to take a deer with a handgun but always grab a rifle when crunch time comes. I'm just too much of a wimp to do it but I admire those of you who do.

Sweet!! Handgun deer are as good as it gets.
I’m guessing your holster is a Pistol Packaging Bandito rig? Looks exactly like the one I have…Love it!!

I bought the Bandoleer rig from Magnum Research. Has a big BFR stamped on it, but it holds all my large single actions well.
I've had it for years, it's my go to rig for pretty much everything.
