Can someone identify this 22. My friend got from his dad after he passed. Its single shot. The bottom is the barrel. The barrel and chamber swings up to side to load. Ive love to know anything about it.

Exactly so, and since the demise of the Garcia Bronco the design has been copied and made by several other manufacturers, some modified but close copies. The original version was very inexpensive.....today, not at all.

Love the little Bronco, used to shoot the heck out of it. Takes down into two pieces that I used to put into a pillowcase when backpacking.

I wanted but did not get the .410 version of those way back then.

I bought one new when it first came out. Price was $10 as I recall, not too bad for a college freshman. Used to carry it in a modified Mexican carry, pushed down through my jeans belt in back when tromping the Hill Country. Weighed nothing and, once the crude sight was set, could be quite accurate. Yeah, still have it.

They also made a .410/.22LR combo gun that I dearly wanted when I was twelve or thirteen. I remember drooling over one at a Gamble's store in Nevada, MO.

I had one for a while it's a very simple design and fun to play with. The one I had was imported by F.I.E. when they had a Washington DC address.
