I have seen them before years ago.
But is there anywhere where I can buy an adapter , to use a 12 gr CO2 cylinder in a old Plainfield 137 BB pistol that was designed to use a 8gr CO2 cartridge.
If I can't find one.
I may have someone with a lathe make me one.
Basically from what I remember.
It is just a Tube , threaded on the outside to fit the pistol.
And then threaded on the inside of the other end for the Cap that holds the longer cylinder in the pistol.
8 gr cylinders are hard to find.
But if I use the 12 gr , they are available all over the place.
This is for a pistol that my step daughter has that her late dad left her.

I haven't even heard of 8 gr cylinders before, and I am antique myself.

i have the same pistol + i have no problems getting 8 gr. c02 from many different sources - great guns , mine has to be over 50 years old + still functioning like it was new - i have not seen the adapters for sale anywhere in decades - the 8Gr. work fine for me - plumbing supply houses , bed bath + beyond , hobby shops , + even EBAY have them at low prices -

forgot to mention they are in common usage by the military to inflate flotation devices - i have found them in surplus stores - ebay has plenty of listings but the shipping is high - https://www.ebay.com/itm/193717088382?epid=27012502928&hash=item2d1a70307e:g:UfAAAOSwvGlaTorC&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoC%2FMJ0lmwUbaA0YBKPasmOsh7tU QB1ydutENKTl416X0TgmAUssIECUbDH0bcTxhLbGj1INWrpy3G uk4zRhKb%2BeukCGL1HIGIZ0LSi5i8aKftkf%2Fbvtcda14G2y LPmnZLB0eqZxqheZqPqtBBU0h0QnznaO%2BKcBEWyhLu181r%2 FW%2FfkHcQB%2BhQjtGlIGDSWFTlEotr8yCkBIkPv8RTauOQRw %3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR9iZwt6NYQ

I did find some 8 gr cylinders at a restaurant supply.
They were used in their Soda Machines.
I remember those soda machines from when I was a kid.
My step daughter wants to keep this pistol because it was her dad's.
And wants me to teach her daughter how to shoot it.
