Maxi Ball Buck

I shot this guy this morning as he was stalking a doe around in the corn field . This is bitter sweet as my Dad passed away on Oct 23 , I had to shed some tears while checking him out as my Dad was always my first call after any successful hunt . This one was for my Dad . Shot was around 115yds with my 50 cal TC System1 . Home cast 370 Maxi Ball over 90gr FF Goex lit with a W209 , bullet went in back edge of right shoulder and out front edge of left in the base of his neck . The maxi-ball is a great penetrator, I've never recovered one in any of the animals I've shot. Good looking buck.
