I went shootin today and stopped by Sportsman's Warehouse to buy some more targets. While I was there I asked where they had their primers, 'cause I wanted to see the prices.. After some jocularity the guy told me they didn't have ANY, hadn't see primers in months! THey had soime small pistol and rifle primers come in a few monts ago but not too many and lasted only two days.

Fortunately I have brick of each of what I use in stock that can last me a good while. And it getting too cold for me to spend a long time at the bench loading or shooting.

I scored some cci small rifle magnums at bimart on Monday. Limit was 200, with Mrs with me I was able to get 400. Been months since they had any. Their shipment was all of 2000 srm.

Kinda wanted to go back for the rest. But at $7.45 per 100...wasnt all that excited about it. Still at $74.50 a 1k, is cheaper than some current online pricing.

We call the local fun store chain around here "the fin" and I stopped in Friday.....

They have CCI and some Federals in stock on the shelf, limit per day is 300.
Prices range from $10.99/100 standard, $11.99/100 magnum, to $18.99/100 BR.
Powder is mid- $30s to mid-$40s per 1 pounders, 8lb jugs $238 - $274 or more.
Limit one container of any size.
Some of the ammo is fairly reasonable, though....
But I didn't buy a thing.
.

Fin, Feather, Fur.....we just call it "the Fin"

Is that the Fin, Feather and Fur? I was in one last summer when I was up for vintage motorcycle days at Mid-Ohio. Nice store, a little pricey but they had stuff.
