Here is a recipe that you will find at most of our clubs campfires. Works great with deer or cheap beef cuts (cheaper the better).

2lbs. meat (loin, steak, roast)
1 bunch of green onion chopped (to taste)
2 cloves chopped FRESH garlic
1 teaspoon accent
1 teaspoon sesame-oil
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1-4 jalapeno peppers chopped (to taste)
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Mix and pour over meat in icecream bucket or baggie, refrigerate overnight minimum, 24-48 hours even better.
Turn meat at least once, to make sure full coverage, I usually do it 3-4 times.
Grill or broil to taste.
