looking advice on what mold would be best. I have a Win 1892 and a Colt single action, both are 32-20. In looking at several molds from the mold makers and from reading everything I can find, the Lyman 311008 seems to be popular but..some posters say this Lyman mold often drops bullets to small, about .310 from the ones they own. I need .313-.314 so I can size them to my guns. My preference would be a single or double cavity but nothing larger .. Whatever mold I buy I would like it in plain base and also gas check design. Any suggestions?

Accurate 31-105T is a double-crimp-groove design for .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R Mag and .32-20, which resembles the shape of factory lead bullets in those calibers. Mine drops .314" diameter. It has a .03 bevel base, but can be ordered with a plain base or in GC. I have not found a GC necessary in .32-20 loads with 10 grains of 4227.

Try arsenals 311-124 it's a copy of the lyman 311008 but they come out at about .313"

If you order your mold from Accurate molds you can pick your diameter and it will be what you specify. I can't imagine a mold being any better than Tom's molds.
Good Luck,
Rick

Thanks guys! I knew someone would have good info.

late edit: after looking at websites suggested, I have ordered the Accurate 31-105T in .314 diameter flat base. This will allow for resizing to several 32-20 revolvers and one 1892 Win. I may at a later date get another with the GC base but will shoot this one first, see how it performs.

My 32-98 SWC RCBS has performed well in my Browning 53, Colt Army Special. and M&P S&W. It does all I need done.
