Going through the moulds i got the other day and have both RCBS 44-200-FN(82036) and RCBS 44-200-CM(082307).
Both are 2 cavity steel moulds.
They look very close to the same shape.
I shoot a S & W mountain Gun in 44 Mag
Thanks for any advice.

For a revolver -- at revolver distances -- I'd shoot the wide metplat Cowboy (CM)
For a lever-action rifle, I'd choose the FN w/ the better-feeding/better-BC nose & nifty crimp groove

Thank you for the information. I will put the cm in my keep pile.

The 44-200-fn may be 430 or it may be 428. I’d be interested to buy it if it’s 430. I had one that was 428, cast great just too small for me. RCBS lists the mould in its 44 data as 430 so I think they made both sizes.

It does not state the size. It is new never cast a bullet.
